Great band in their day and got to see the last line up with Trevor Burton & Bev Bevan a few months back
Burton told the audience Pete Townshend invited him to his mate Jimi Hendrix's flat where they were the first two people to hear the Are You Experienced album

It's ok, but sounds like they're trying too hard to get on the psychedelic bandwagon, a bit like early Status Quo, who in my opinion were better and definitely underrated.
All opinions though, nice to be talking about 'proper' music!

I'll add to this list The Posies. One of the great Seattle bands of the late 90's who never really sat well with the so called grunge bands of the time such as Mudhoney and Tad, for example.
I recall one particularly great show on a three band bill with Superchunk and the headlining, Teenage Fanclub, who were touring their Thirteen album - fucking blinding night out...
